Plans & limits
Your API key carries your tier. The tier sets three things: how many underwrites are included each month, what each one costs beyond that, and how fast you can call.
Tiers at a glance
Billing is subscription plus usage — nothing else. Every tier includes a monthly volume of underwrites; beyond it, each additional underwrite is metered at the overage rate. A single successful underwrite is one unit, whether it comes from /v1/underwrite, a row of /v1/bulk-underwrite, or an MCP tool call.

Rate limits
The limit is a per-second ceiling on requests, enforced per key. Exceed it and the call is rejected with 429 Rate limit exceeded — back off and retry. The limiter fails open: a transient outage on our side never rejects your paying traffic.
Seats and metering
On the team tiers (Starter, Growth, Pro) seats are unlimited and every teammate draws on one shared monthly quota and one bill — metering is centralized on the account, not per user. Solo and the free Trial are single-seat.
Included volume vs. overage
Overage exists for occasional spillover, not as the main way to buy. If you’re consistently past a tier’s included volume, the next tier up is cheaper per underwrite — the pricing page has a calculator that finds the break-even for your monthly volume.
